Hacemos esto debido que los problemas de la isla tienden a ser enmarcados dentro de un contexto muy limitado, que incide negativamente sobre las respuestas que surgen a estos problemas. Pretendemos mirar a la realidad de Puerto Rico desde una perspectiva de la historia de la ciencia y la tecnología, para añadir nuestro granito de arena al bienestar de nuestra isla. We have decided to briefly take up this space to talk in greater depth about the Puerto Rican condition. We do this because the island's problems tend to be placed within a rather limited framework with shallow context, and which negatively impacts the responses which emerge to these problems. Our aim is to look at the Puerto Rico from the context of the history of science and technology, thusly adding our little grain of sand to improve this island's well-being.
