Benny Frankie Cerezo's shocking attitude

Yesterday, listening to the radio, I was surprised by the unfair statements made by Benny Frankie Cerezo. Cerezo read aloud, word by word, those sections of the founding law of the Junta de Calidad Ambiental (JCA), actually written by him, noting the powers held by the JCA allowing it to resolve the problem of medical waste products by the company Biocelsius. (The company Biocelcius had not been processing the infamous 'red bags' suitably, which has created an open garbage dump of hospital residue in Caguas.) Cerezo noted that the JCA could have solved the problem months ago by having the power to use certain discretionary funds, calling its young president Carlos Lopez Freytes an “incompetent that should have been dismissed immediately."  What kind of attitude is that, Benny?  Why go for the jugulars so aggressively? With the problem of violence that tends to exist in Puerto Rico, how is it that a “wise old man” should be attacking a young civil employee in that manner? If it is certain that Lopez Freytes could have solved the problem months ago, why then did not Cerezo notify him at that time, in private, so that the problem could have been avoided in the first place to the benefit of all? In numerous occasions during the last month, Cerezo has also emitted somewhat worrisome expressions of a similar character. This pattern of behavior gives the impression that Cerezo possibly suffers from diabetes, given that the disease tends to alter human behavior in this manner.   Since Cerezo appears almost every day of the week in RadioIsla 1320, it would not be a bad idea that he take a small vacation and consult his doctor-psychiatrist.  The issue also leads to the inevitable question:  how many of Puerto Rico's social problems are due to the island's rampant diabetes?  Is the Spanish "convivencia" inversely related to diabetes?
