Children: share and share alike

Within the noble courts of the 'feudoburgues' period (Jose Luis Romero), those particular social dynamics were created in which political power was confused with economic power.  Many assisted the courts to win the favor of the king, and (hopefully) their own fortune.  Today in Puerto Rico similar social dynamics occur given that so much political power is centralized in the figure of the governor.  All modern courtiers fight amongst themselves to win political favor, creating an aberrant political ethic within our modern context.  What predominates is a mask of friendship with a dagger hidden from sight.  Fortunately, those who are 'outside the courts', as private universities, collaborate amongst themselves to reach new successes.  Their conduct is the by-product of their reality.  Not only should we imitate the first, but we should also seek to recreate the second.  The medieval scheme has lasted too much time in the hispanic world.
