Dear Users in Puerto Rico
ICTAL.ORG is currently having a problem with the principal internet provider (ISP) in Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Telephone Company (PRTC). For some reason, their domain name servers (DNS) which link up the site name ("www.ictal.org") with its actual IP address (38.99.95.207) is not working--which does not allow users to access the page when going to "www.ictal.org" domain name. Therefore, we urge all local users of the PRTC, which was recently purchased by America Movil, to access the page directly via its IP address until this issue is resolved. We were also told that the telecommunications regulator, the Junta Reglamentadora de Telecomunicaciones, has no jurisdiction in this area. So we are also urging all users to protest these practices to both the PRTC and the JRT. We hope this incident is not due to our criticism of the PRTC sale to America Movil recently. Thank you.
