"Public Background Checks": A Complete Violation of Civil Liberties

I just happened to come across the page "Public Background Checks" , and was completely aghast not only at the information that was freely available about me, but potentially available to any interested buyer for only $39.95.  You could find my age (40 years), the places I have lived at (Austin Texas, Minneapolis Minnesota, San Juan, Puerto Rico), and--for only  $20, and you can find out whether I have been a criminal in Florida or Oregon. (I will save you the $20 and let you know tat I have not.)  I am in complete shock and disbelief at this flagrant invasion of my personal life and civil rights.  While I have nothing to regret, it is indisputably clear that anyone who has made any mistakes in their life--and we all have at some point--this invasion of privacy would not allow anyone to begin their life anew.  The members of the Republican party , in their fear of anything foreign, have gone too far.  As a citizen of Puerto Rico who lived in the United States, I demand that my information be immediately removed from the Internet. (NOTE: I did notice that not all records of citizens in Puerto Rico appear on their records.)  A class action lawsuit should be filed immediately, on behalf of all Puerto Ricans, demanding that this information be immediately removed.  The same thing should be done for all US citizens.
