Eat Grapefruits

A study, popularized by RadioUniversidad of the Universidad de Puerto Rico, revealed that grapefruits help prevent coronary attacks by reducing the levels of "bad cholesterol".  The study found that, "Those who received red or white grapefruits showed a significant reduction in their lipid levels in the blood.  Patients who did not eat grapefruits did not show significant changes in lipid levels.  The researchers found that the red grapefruit was more effective than the white one in lowering lipid levels, particularly triglycerides in the blood."
