Goddard Institute for Space Studies: Most Rigorous and Scholarly Data on Environmental Change

If you want to find out the latest (and most rigorous) scientific data on environment change, refer to James Hansen's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS).  Hansen, who has been with NASA for the last 30 years, has been tracing greenhouse issues for some time, and was the first to report that 2005 has been the warmest on record--the same Hansen that the George Bush Administration does not want the public to hear about.  The administration prevented Hansen from giving interviews to PBS, and required that an administration representative be present at all interviews--such as this 60 Minutes (CBS) interview.  While the issue is relatively straightforward, the administration, driven by affected economic interests, thwarts all news releases.  Under the Bush Administration, we are ironically returning to the era of the Inquisition.
