ICTAL.ORG Turns Three... and 300,000
On the 16th of November 2005, we will be nearing our three year anniversary. This is not unusual except for the fact that we will also be reaching 300,000 page views during the entire period, figures which steadily have been increasing from year to year. It has been particularly curious to see new goalpoasts established, as the average number of hits (page views) per day regularly increased. To steadily get 50 page views in a single day was an achievement during its first year, with its highest peak per day at 700. During the second year, a significant advancement was demonstrated when an average page-views of 123 per day was obtained. In the recent weeks, 1,000 page views per day was observed, peaking at 2,991. While these may not be astounding Google-like figures in the millions per day, we are proud of our modest but regular-and-incremental achievements. Consequently, we would like to thank all of those who have shared our mission to spread scientific-technological knowledge and achievements of the Latin American community. Thank you.
